    ty. I use the webcam mostly for me to look at. Ever since I have the tank, I found myself standing in front of it for hours. Can't get any work done. Now I can have it live on my desktop, I don't have to keep going there to look at it. :D

    The web cam isn't showing me anything but the front area of a house.

    lol. Just put a web-cam facing the tank.Then have a web adress(I think) that it will show on? I want to know! :)

    I actually just asked Wes the same thing, he was nice enough to let me know it's a standalone cam, but it's pricey @ $1400: Canon USA Consumer Products - Network Video Solutions - PTZ Network Cameras - VB-C60

    Of course it's a good investment in terms of security purposes & a bonus for the fish tank.

    It makes sense that it's that expensive as I've never seen a webcam that smooth, the ones you put on a server are usually choppy or just delayed pictures.
