Wet dry or sump/fuge PLEASE HELP GOING TO BUY ONE OR THE OTHER TODAY

I am getting closer to setting up my tank and have a question about the filtration set up.
First off let me start by saying I am going to start off with a FOWLR tank and then start adding corals.

I guess this is going to be a 2 part question so here goes.

    1. Could I get by with just an Eshopps wet dry model cs125 for now with just the fowlr set up and still use it when adding corals or should I just buy the 30 gallon tank and build myself a sump/fuge? Or can I build a sump/fuge later down the line and still use the wet dry when corals are added for the time being?
    2. How long should one wait before adding corals to a newly astablished tank? This is why I am asking about the sump/fuge versus the wet dry. what are the benifits of going the diy other then cost right from the start?
