Wet dry with sep. sump?

    I think Matt was saying, move it forward, not to either side...even if just an inch or two it may be just enough...

    does the lid on the left side lift up with the pipe? If yes, I would lift it up and slide the bottom part forward out from under the lid with the pipe attached...

    Yes, more pics may help....

    How about pics of the tank as well, is the tank full of water? Just the sump?

    ok, I was able to force the left side up and out, and changed out the filter. The other side has a plastic lip holding the cover in place.. here's some pics.

    Just to answer a you question about fish you can keep. This set up looks like it could be used for anything. If you choose to go saltwater you will need a skimmer which I didn't see in any pics. Do you know how to properly cycle a tank?

    Oops, I need to stop drinking stuffs getting blurry. You do have a skimmer. Maybe you should ignore me till I sober up a bit. ;D
