What do you mean by LA being "transshipped", Raven?

 

I bought from them once and got great coral and a lot of freebies. A couple didn't make and they said they would replace the corals with the next order if the coral was available or with something of equal or greater value including freebies that didn't make it.

Ah, well wouldn't they have to be(if they aren't tank-bred) in order to get the wider variety of fish?

I.e. those(fish) from Fiji or the Indian Ocean.

 

Transshipped does NOT mean from outside the country. Live Aquaria never, ever sees these animals. They drop them into LAX. They may, or may not be repackaged, and then the coral is right back on a plane within an hour. If they die during transit, then they will honor their warranty and rip another coral or fish out of the ocean. It's cheaper to REPEATEDLY kill animals than to maintain facilities that attempt to keep these animals alive. The end-user his happy and praises Live Aquaria for taking care of them when their shipment dies. However, that's is not what is going on.
