Thanks! I hope they get better too.

Haha, I know it's so tempting to change things. But it looks great!

Lot's of work. Looks great so far.

You should not see any cycle. I bought my tank used and moved it in a day. Nitrates went from 5 to 15.

added a sand sifting star to my fuge. i should have got a pic before it buired itself. also added a clip on fan. my tank is running a little hot 81. not sure why. same lights on the 55 got up to 79 or 80 with no sump. i am thinking its all the pumps.

also got these cool stick on led lights so i can see under the tank while the fuge light is off. (might go 24hrs once i get the heat down and some cheato in there)

Great to hear! Man the underside of your tank is so organized. Great job with the sump too.

    update:

Montipora has a nice white edge again. I am suprised how quick it was to recover.

have a diatom bloom. hope its from a new tank and new plastic (have eggcrate under rocks) hope its not the start of a cycle, still no sign of a cycle.

i have been adding about a gallon and a half a day for top off. does that seem high??? i do have a fan blowing on sump so i think i am ok.

    some pics for reading:

p.s. ordered an mp40w ES today. have to figure out how to get it in the tank without my girlfriend noticing that something has changed:). i am a horrible liar, when she finds out how much it costs she will have a nano in her purse for my boy parts.

That doesn't seem too high of a rate of evaporation. For my 90 gallon, I fill up a 5 gallon bucket for my ATO about once a week.
