Whale shark at Georgia Aquarium dies...

    That's really too bad. After seeing the Whale shark in Osaka they are truly amazing.
    Hopefully that will be the last of the set backs for the aquarium. I'm sure they did everything they could do

    I don't really know what caused it. There hasn't been much info on it. I'll be down there this weekend though so I'll ask and see...

    Isn't that the 2nd one to die at the Georgia Aquarium or did another aquarium have one die recently?

    yea I think they lost one back in January as well. They mentioned in the press release that they had to treat the tank for some thing and both dead whale sharks showed change in their behavior. They are thinking the deaths might be related. So sad.

    if an Angel costs $200 I wonder how much a whale shark is?

    And no, you can't keep one in a 75! ;D
