    So anyone else catch the program on sci channel about oknawa building a whale shark tank. The acrylic glass was thicker then my tank was big.

    I believe the one on Georgia is bigger right? I saw the one in Japan I think it was on Discovery. Mind blowing on size of the pumps and that it has miles of piping that feeds right from the ocean.

    The one here in Ga is huge have rode up to atl yet to check it out but saw a vid on the glass for the display tank for the sharks its act two pieces of like foot thick glass thats glued together ill see if I can track down that vid.

    I saw that program, I think I saw it on Discovery last year. That acrylic is MASSIVE in thickness! Did they show how it was made, the guy that made the glass invented his own glue for the process. The clearity was amazing.

    I can't remember right now where it is, Maybe Dubai, but there is the worlds largest tank, that the acrylic is a thick as humans can possibly make at the moment... Our current tech doesn't allow us to MAKE any thicker acrylic!! THATS unbelievable!! Gotta love discovery channel!
