Good deal. Not going with another RP?

Does the edges of your tank get good lighting with how the light I'd oriented?

Thanks Whiskey. You were part of my inspiration regarding the tank size and lighting.

Hey Todd, thanks, we're getting closer to corals.

I would say the very edge is shaded, that is fine by me. BUT that small shading will go away once I raise the fixture and add the ATI T5.

No RP it's such a small tank. Too many coral types too little time and not enough tank and room. I want to try some other stuff this time up.

Yeah no! I am going with two. One will be a Crocea and the other might be as well. Crocea or Squamosa. We wiill see....

Glad to hear it. I am very content with my small tank, so fast and easy.

I was out of the hobby for a good bit, what ever did happen to your last tank and red planet?

I was so envious of that coral!! When my 90 gets established enough Im going to try and locate a frag of it along with the classic green slimer and will hopefully have better luck this go around.

You're looking for Acropora Yongei, aka Green Slimmer. Hard to resist because they are so colorful and show PE.

MY JBJ 28 was about 6-7 years old. It got old, rusty and leaky, hinges and screws stripped or rusted. Hard to fight corrosion on a SW tank over a long period. It was MH, which I absolutely love but it's not feasible any longer, too hot for starters.

The RP got fragged up and given away as did my Joe and others.

    ;)

you only had a jbj 28gal? I thought your tank was much large for some reason!

2n10 also got out of the hobby for a bit right? Havnt seen him post here in awhile. Seems like the forums are less active now than they used to be but I still recognzie many of the names. Glad youre getting back into it, nothing more exciting than a new build!
