Just wondering if there is a reason you mounted the light like that? I figured if it was mounted length wise it would get better coverage.
Either way its still looks pretty slick.

    Excellent, thanks Todd. ;)

Actually you're right, I think it should go length wise as well, so my goal is to make that happen. Unfortunately though ATI does not make a rack for their 24" fixture so both the T5 and the AI will go length wise once I get my hands on a welder.

I am enjoying the stark white phase. Any day now algae will rear it's ugly head.

    Thanks for the compliment. :)

    So day 19.

The boulder type rock to the right will go, it was my piece of cured for seed. Another Tongan branch will go in that spot. It kind of looks like a Dragon, I was going for Bonsai.

I am ordering some corals today. A Digitata pack, red, green and purple, start slow. Next the Blue Carpet Anemone and after that the Pink Clowns.

Anemones have never really wandered too much for me. I know they have the potential too. The power head (Hydor 1150) behind the glob rock is covered, everything else in the tank is in the back compartments. I am eventually going to put the power heads on wave maker. Not going to pay for Vortech right now.

Lastly I got nothing to kill right now that is the reason the carpet is the first invert in. A couple easy sps to test the water and next the carpet.

My original theme for this tank was a nice carpet, and Damsels, two or three. I think I can pull off a carpet and some sps, and yellow or orange Zoanthids.
My sps choices are pretty much nailed down as well. Just a couple pieces I have always wanted. Not sure what order the clams will be ordered. Next ATO, then I am probably going to get a nano reactor and play with bio-pellets since now I have a skimmer.

I guess we'll see how big one gets and if the carpet stays in the sand bed.

Im excited to hear about how the carpet does. I have resisted due to my concerns over their size, but i may have to give in when i finish the 220 project. Im really enjoying following this build!

I seem to recall you giving me advice on waiting about the one yet mark for any nems? Any who, looks great and can't wait for this tank to evolve.
