The two larger pieces I got from LA. I love LA they have never done me wrong, but I hate shipping charges.

We have a great newer local fish store, Fishy Business (Tucson Az). Prices were right and NO aiptasia which means A LOT to me. I am done for awhile, going to get a Clam, some Rastas and either a Pink Lemonade or Strawberry Shortcake, I'll probably get those from Vivid. Although DD has a sweet some sweet looking Crocea.

    Sit back an tinker.

Personally I am not feeling the need for a lot corals for movement, that might change, kind of the reason I got the Goniopora, just to see if movement still meant that much to me. o_O

I have the Tunze 3155 on my wife 30 (I got from Norg). It is nice because you can open the controller and turn it to nano which reduces the flow speed so it does not overfill and set off secondary alarm(which is nice because it will save in event of main failure)

beautiful Cheryl! got to love the look of a brand new tank - so clean! your selection is awesome. I'm really interested in how the goni fares over time, I've tried a couple of pieces with not much luck - the red frag I got fell and got lost and then a larger purple piece I got slowly died :( they are sooo pretty - I would love to keep at least one piece in my tank

Nice Chris, great to know, thanks for the tip very much appreciated.

    Thank you.

    Thanks MIndy.

I mainly bought this green Goniopora because my GF was going to buy it for me if I did not get it. She loved it's color, had I had my choice I would have waited and gotten the red variety.

I had forgotten how sensitive Goniopora is, I swear if you even look at the coral it changes PE and shape. We'll see long term how it does, I am going feed it.

The tank has the uglies, pretty much expected. Diatoms starting and a little cyano, I hate this stage. Nothing to do but ride it out. The Acorpora Solytariensis has paled a tad I pretty sure it's the LED, the purple Digitata is looking good as well as every thing else. Digitata kind of looks like a purple Stylophora.

Water chemistry still great. I am going to dim the LED's a little more, water change tomorrow as well.

    Thanks for looking.

Montipora Digitata are an under appreciated coral. It's a relatively easy sps that comes in purple, blue, green and all kinds of orange of red, fast grower. Oh and it's usually not as costly as the more fashionable sps out there.

I will have to see if I can find some of that locally. I also hate shipping prices.
