Currently I suck at taking images with the LEDS. My maxi-Mini is fluorescent, as is my Sertosa and I can not get a decent images of either secondary to the blue of the LEDS. Only when I turn up the whites do my images turn out and then the corals loose that fluorecsent look.

I need to start a thread on taking images under LEDs.

I have given Sexy Shrimp a thought, I had them in the past and really liked them, but I am weary of them as they are not always reef safe and little buggers to catch. I would love to see some of your maxi-minis Mindy.:)

Roughly 3 months is usually how long my tanks ugly stage last. So I am a month in, it will get worse before it gets better. I do not have any snails yet so when the algae sets in I will get a few snails to help out.

It's looks good in the images Kevin. ;)

So now I am doing the freaking sps and PE guessing game. Laughing at myself for telling others not to worry about it. When only one sps does not show PE (currently the Formosa) than I am constantly comparing it to the other sps ugggggggggg.

Everything is doing well though knock on wood.

I haven't seen my pink lemonade extend their polyps since I got it 2 months ago. Lazy frag.

    Group shot:

All corals doing well. The Goniopora opens fully and closes multiple times a day.

I am going to start Acropower, I believe my sps need it. The colors are still slightly paled, I am guessing it's the LED (still trying to get those dialed iin), huge learning curve for me.

Water changes of 5 gallons, at least every week. It is bizarre how much dirt/junk I get out of a tank started with dry rock, contains no fish or real inverts besides a couple hermits. Skimmer working and skimming dry gunk. Makes you wonder what it would be like with fish and feedings.

Chemistry in line. No intended livestock purchases in the near future (that could change), got my Two Fishes mag float, love it. Next RO/DI, new test kits, ATO (yeah I know I keep saying that)

    Thank you for viewing.

    Thanks MIndy.

Vinny they are dialed down to 30%. My issue is probably due to the shallow tank and the height of the fixture. LPS are all in pretty shaded areas, fortunately that seems to be working.

Solution raise fixture add ATI T5. Fixture is about 16 inches off surface. All acropora are under, montipora off to the side, and the anemone is pretty happy halfway in between as well as the Zoanthids.

Went to Petco today, $40.00 bucks for a Fire shrimp, $50.00 for a small 2 inch Derasa, yeah no.

Oh I still need to get the BRS or equiv screen. I would like to at least think about the two fish I am going to add, three if I decide on Chromis.
