    Thanks all,

I should expect some frustration, moving along at a brisk pace. I get away with it by changing water once a week right now, and trying to keep my hands out of the tank. I dose alk twice daily, and ca about every other day, and test every other day for now. Feed clowns twice a day, Acropower every 5 days. Tank is loosing about 1/2 gallon a day now in evaporation.

Stichodactyla haddoni, is what I ordered a small one. I have never had an anemone under LED, start it out in the shade and let it move towards the light if need be. The tank has so much flow now I'll have to turn off the Tunze Nano and see where the anemone settles.

It's been my experience that Carpets are not big movers, but you're right I am a little nervous.

Alk:7.8, went up too much shooting for 7-7.5
Ca: 340 went down too much shooting for 450
Temp: 82 went up, will drop heater temp to 78
    Water change of 3 gallons.

I get a lot of detritus and guck out of my sponge and I clean it weekly. For a twenty gallon tank it seems like a lot. Makes me wonder how you guys keep a big tank clean.
Amphipods, big ones have made their appearance. Huge white Stomatella cruising around, Collonista, ton of Spirorbid worms. Lastly a turf algae has made it into the tank, tried manual removal, going to have to try something else.

RASTA's arriving on the 9th, dang those things are expensive.

    Nice avatar Reefbuilder!

So where are your Rasta's placed, light wise and flow wise?

Thanks! It is my Tyree War and Peace Favia! I have the colony in my Frag tank right now - in a lower flow area. I have been spot feeding with reef roids.

That's refreshing to hear about carpets. I'll be watching yours (from here, I'm no stalker!) and seeing how it goes. Then, maybe someday.... I am apt to get a mini-maxi before any other nem.

We just get to clean bigger equipment... and I don't have a big tank... But I don't have sponges, and filter socks I only run about 25% of the time.

Rastas are so cool, but you know what I'm wanting to get next is those stinking fruit loop zoas. Now there's another pricey one.
