I really like goni as well. It's got the coral and movement - I still just have a small frag of red but so far, it's hanging in there!

All caught up! Amazing tank build, Cheryl! Everything looks awesome. You can tell you really care and gave a lot of thought to your choices in coral and live stock. Sorry about the diver.
Did you end up getting the monti from LA? It looks amazing!

I had a great time reading your thread! I think I speak for all when I ask: More pictures, please! :)

:) I neglected to take more images but I will tomorrow after the new Goniopora and Derasa get here.

Did not get the Monitpora Danea, however I did get another Acropora hyacinthus, my very favorite tabling sps. I had one before and loved it.

Thanks for the kind words and reading my thread. I look forward to your build, I know it's in the planning stages still. I never got the excitement about gathering equipment until my new build, it's a lot of fun.

Well... I got the water under control... not dosing anything yet, but will soon. I also got the fish in my sig when i started getting the itch for life in there. The tank had been running and I have not seen anything look bad. Some of the coral that I have there are having a hard time due to the lights. They're lps, zoas, monster green mushrooms took over along with the aptaisia and flatworms. I have treated for flatworms before, but they have come back with a very vengeful smirk on their flat faces!

The equipment is all the same, but I will get good lights... just got to find them in the U.S.

on the goni comment - it should say it has the COLOR and movement - not coral and movement - I really need to proofread before I hit post :) looking forward to updated pics!

Hi Milton and welcome to 3reef.

Tank has hit the 3 month mark, still having the expected growing pains.

Proud owner of Crocea, Maxima, Derasa Tridacna.

Algae issue abating. Turned my heater down to 74, the temp hangs steady at 78 because of Az ambient temp. Love, love love the ATO.

That was me! I don't know why my tapatalk does not remember my username and it subscribed me again to all the forums under my name :) I have to get it fixed.

    Hi Magnus. :p LOL

So my Acropora hyacinthus arrived DOA, I was disappointed and it looked like a beautiful piece, when alive.

So my credit went to Acropora sarmentosa, not one you see a lot of. Also while I was there, Montipora Danea, ORA Green Planet , Montipora spongodes.

Pretty excited about the Green Planet, as we all know I certainly loved my RP.

Got a ton tunicates. Red Gonio and clams are doing well, as is Haddoni. Still fighting some algae issues.
