That is one thing about LEDS, they make corals look beautiful, you just can not capture that in images on point/shoot cameras.

So I have no problem spending 170.00 on a Squamosa but I will not spend 176.00 on a Hanna Digital Refractometer, sighs and shakes head. I would love to do away with my refractometer. I have to wear bi-focals now and it makes it really hard to focus the refractometer, as well as read lines on syringes. It sucks getting old folks.

Squamosa arrives on April fools. At least in my old age I have clams to look at. ;)

Granted, it's still not cheap... but it's not $176$...

I saw you added an ATO a few posts back, one more thing to make your day easier!

I love seeing the clams! I need to make some room for a clam. I need to make room for everything... ugh... haha!

Yeah but I really really mean it now! I got no room. I could put a SSC, maybe another Millepora. Some Zonathids would fit but that is it.

The Jedi Mind Trick, I think it's a Danea (nope it's an Undata), it's ORA. Very pretty.

I love Jedi mind trick, fast grower. Mine turned dark on me and I started dosing potassium, iodide and strontium a while back and man did it color back up. It's crazy what the corals suck out of the water. I lost my nice colony of tyree sunset out of the blue though, the spongodes and starry night on the same rock are fine luckily. Did a dip to be safe but it sucks, I loved that monti.

Well I am thrilled to hear it's a fast grower. I hope my Spongodes looks like yours someday.

    Acropora sarmentosa, it's beautiful.

Tridacna Squamosa, Maxima, Crocea and Derasa. The Maxima has pinched mantle, I am going to do a long FW bath and add more charcoal.
