Sigh, wish I had know that before I placed my MarineDepot and BRS orders last week. Thanks for the tip I'll put it on my to get list because I am sure I will be ordering something else. Do the Rastas actually show a feeding response?

They do, not to the extent of some of the other Zoas that I have, but I hit them with the roids every few days and I notice they are larger, more open and responding very well.

    Will do.

Very nice, Cheryl! Sorry about the Maxima.
I'm glad you're there and I'm here. Otherwise your sarmentosa would have my drool all over it :)

You're always so supportive, thanks. ;)

It's a beauty and I need to take more images of it. The maxima I am disappointed but it happens especially with smaller clams. I will replace it in a short while

    Thanks Mindy. ;)

Soooooo Vinny, I now have the Hanna pH pen, Hanna low phosphate, Hanna Ca and the Hanna Alk, look what you've created. But alas I have back up old school test kit for when in doubt.

Speaking of pH, it is running on the low side. 8.04 mid day, not spectacular. It probably has more to do with the tanks age versus anything else. So since I do not see good things when I add strictly part B because it's drives the alk up too high I am going to start with some Kalk and hope it brings up the pH without driving Ca or alk up too high too fast.

Regarding the algae, phos 0.00 so I know it's bound up in the turf algae, age of tank again. Might try such a little phosban since I have it.

Thanks for putting up with my rambling, I get more direction when I actually put the information all in one place.
