What about Geographic specific reef setups?

    I think setting up a region-specific tank would be a lot of fun and more 'natural.' At one point I set up my hex with local stuff, it was pretty cool and full of life. Makes me want to buy another tank! ;D

    Hey I already bought one tank this week! ;D Actually ordering a sump pump for it right now along with those books.

    I'm thinkin about it....need to do more research....
    I would like to. Then, tho, if you really want to do it right, you need to get LR from the right area..that may prove difficult - I was probably gonna get some aquacultured rock from Florida. You know, the whole "Save the Reefs" guilt trip. Plus that seems to be the best way. I don't want to make my own, yet I want to be ecologically friendly...and get real critters from the sea.

    I may look into an Australian reef, If I can't go there, I'll bring a piece of it here..... ;D

    Good point about the rock. But, I don't think anyone would knock you just for having rock from elsewhere. ;) :)
