What about these frags from GARF

Has anyone or do you know anyone that has bought frags from Garfs? They have a fair sale on, 16 frags for 100 bucks, but the shipping is 69.00. I need some soft coral and was curious.

It is high. He said when the weather breaks, in about 3 weeks, he could ship them for about 19.00 priority mail. I don't know about that either. Its a long way from Idaho to al.
Btw, where do you and every one else buy them at a low price. I'm just stocking my tank. I been out of it for about 4 years now.

 

check local reef clubs, a lot of people will give you frags as long as you frag them for them if their tank crashes or something. also watch for reef shows in your area. I just got 3 frags for $10 at reefstock.

 

I know wat you mean but when you said frag it sounded like you were talking about frag grenades i mean 16 for $100.00 lol

 

Just an FYI. If they are packed well priority works. I just got some GSP, Rics, Paly's, and Pavona sent to me priority from Vancouver WA to the extreme easter border of SD. ALL lived and acclimated to my tank quickly. If your interested in huge gsp frags and what ever he may have available send a PM to Eddie.
BUT I wouldn't trust Leroy to pack them well enough to make it and 69.00 is way to much to pay for overnight.
I also joined a reef club and made a good friend that deals frags for a living (OK, I admit it I kissed butt alot but...lol) and was able to get a huge pack of softies and sps that would sell for 300.00+ easily in a LFS for 150.00. So joining a reef club was a good suggestion by another poster and probably your best bet at the best deal.;D

 

i personallly would go for it even with the 69$ worth of shipping that ends up being a total of 170 for 16 frags so thats basically 10$ a pop which is a great price

 

i saw a guy on ebay, who runs Mrcoral in MA, he has a deal 25 bucks shipping and 7 bucks a frag. has everything from softies to SPS, acans and challice. Only they pick the frags. I was wondering if anybody had gone through them. ebay name is rarecoral... also if im not supposed to talk about this (dont know if he is a sponsor) moderaters please delete my post

 

I've never bought from them but also have never read anything negative about them from ppl that have on other forums either. They have a deal called MrCorals Mystery box for 75.00. I think it's 10 frags and you have no idea what you're getting other than soft,lps,sps. www.mrcoral.com

 

yeah i took a look at their feedback then cyberstocked them to their store's page. It seems like some cool stuff and pro frags, but I just want to know im not gonna get brown-moprh zoa, brown-morph zoa, brown-morph Digi, brown-morph chalice lol.
