Is this for 29 gallon tank?
Which light hood is on that one? T-5? CF? MH? LED?

    Honestly:

The fact that you are asking which one would be good for your clowns shows that you have more research to do.

I am not saying dont buy one - I am saying dont buy one today. Nems' are generally not super easy to keep compared to some other reef inhabitants we keep. Also, if your tank is still as young as I suspect it is, the tank is nowhere near ready to house a nem.

IMO I would just wait a little time and do a little research and then buy an anemone. If this would be one of your first things that you put in your tank, i would not recommend it. The tank needs to be very established and atleast over a year old. When you have met those requirements should not have a problem with any anemone.

I know this quoted post is about one month old, but your tank params are swinging. Remember in this hobby, things are measured in months/years and not just a few weeks. Like the other people who posted, I suggest you wait a bit longer because of tank stability issues. Anemones are not particularly hardy and spikes such as that (whether from an accident or user head space and timing) can be very detrimental to their health.

What lights do you have for your aquarium? A strong lighting system is vital to most clownfish hosting anemones. I assume this is for your 29g? Also, if you haven't, I recommend you raise your specific gravity to 1.026.

It is hard for us to recommend what anemone you get for your clownfish without knowing what type of clownfish you have. Certain species of clownfish are more likely to be hosted by certain species of anemones. Even that is no guarantee as the clownfish may decide she likes sleeping in your (insert ANY object inside your aquarium) better.

Here is a compatibility list of clownfish/anemones:
    Clownfish Anemone Compatibility Chart

This should give you an idea on what type of anemone you should look into. I strongly urge you to do research on the anemone you choose to purchase for their needs and care information.

in my experience, LTAs are the easiest..they dont seem to move around as much..But BTAs are the most popyular for beginners..But i would def do some more research before going and buying one, also you need to make sure your tanks water params are stable..Anemones need prestine water for long term health.. I am in no way what so ever telling u not to buy one, but you can nuke your tank if your not careful..And then you gotta start all over..

My maroon clown synced up with my a sebae nem after only being together for about a week. now they look great togheter. i think its more important that you buy the right clown as opposed to the right nem

If you have the right lighting, a GBTA or RBTA is a good one..They are one of the easier nems to care for. I have one, my ocellerie clowns like it.

Bubble Tip Anemones are the easiest IMO...but Long tentacle anemones are good for beginners also. I would strongly suggest, like the others who posted on this thread, to wait. You could still get one later, but in the long run it will probably die if you put it in now. When your aquarium is at least 6 months to a year old an anemone will be easier to care for (still not very easy though :) ) Make sure to moniter your params, and especially KEEP THEM STABLE :p .
    Good Luck!

    Thats true.

Although, my tank has been up for 3 months, really just depends on your experience IMO. As long as you keep your params monitored and stable the anemone will be okay, but after 6 months or so the tank will be easier to keep stable since it grows in maturity.
