Around me, a small colony of an lps, for example 3-4 head of frogspawn is about $50, a small colony of acros is about $80, my lfs has frags any where from $20 for sps, zoas, lps and also has a $10 section and $30 section for larger frags and nicer pieces.

CT area, is pretty bad. Zoas, with 2-3 polyps can go for $45, and an inch of any SPS is easily starting at $54. Doing better on ebay and paying the 30 dollars for overnight shipping.............

SPS frags are (@ LFS) anywhere from $15 to ORA. Local club faire is from free to $30 for tyree or ORA SPS. I just saw someone sell 150 pounds of LR for $100.

Our local store sells every frag for $6 no matter what it is and every full size coral no matter what type or how large for $38.99. They'll even give you 3 for $100 on the full size ones. They have alot of rare stuff which at other local stores is super pricey and hard to come by, still our store keeps the same $38.99 price.

I know your all talking about coral but I had to add this. I want to support a lfs ,but sometimes the prices are so high that you can't afford not to order online. my lfs wants 74.00 for a korilia 3. I just paid 58.58 for 2 korilia 3 online.so im am sure the corals are alot higher too.

my lfs did that way back when, but in the past 6 months, when i conveniently started with corals, they stopped giving me free things or discounts. i think that somebody ruined it for everybody. :(

the other sad thing is that my lfs seems to be getting lazy with the frags. there were times that had many good size frags and rare frags in the 10-20 dollar section, but now all i seem to see are some boring types of zoas, mushrooms, and kenya coral (i think that's what it is called).
