well the LFS said we could keep it for like 6 months or so and then they will buy it back. and they actually wouldn't sell us something if they thought it wasn't good.

I like the flame, beautiful fish, the lemonpeel too, but it seems 50/50 at best that the one I get wouldn't start nipping at the coral or clams once they go in.

as long as you keep the flame angel fed pretty good i dont see it happening..im sure if i quit feeding mine then he would start eating all my corals..

The tank is too small for any wrasse with the exception of a single flasher wrasse.

I personally would not keep an angel of any sort in one either.

Browse around here, any of these in this section on Live Aquaria are suitable: Nano Fish

Please don't put a hippo tang in a 28G....thats pretty much cruelty... :( Shame on your LFS for sayin it would be ok...anything to make a buck...:::sigh::: I can't stress enough to please not do that to such a beautiful fish that NEEDS more space than that....even at 1"

I think we probably go for a goby.

as for the angels. is there any difference between the flame and bicolor angel and maybe lemonpeel and coral beauty on whether they would nip at clams and corals. and if they nip at them, do they just end up looking bad or will it kill them?

I wouldn't put a flasher wrasse in a 28. My 38 was too small for a flashing male. They need a lot of swimming room.

Its a hit or miss with any angel, and it will eventually kill a clam for sure and in a tank that size ur corals would start diminishing fast with a angel with a coral appetite......have you looked up Royal Gramma? They are really bright, i have one and he is quite a character. Look up Tailspot Blenny too.. he can be a nice addition (they graze on algae)...my tailspot is one of my favorite fish in my reef

you could do a watchman goby too...the yellow watchmans are nice and bright and small...get him a colorful pistol shrimp to live with and you will be entertained for sure :)

we are getting a shrimp, I started a thead on that, not sure what to get.

the clown goby looks like the best goby, unless i"m missing something.

not sure if the pistol shrimp can go with other fish, a yellow watchman goby might work.
