I wasn't trying to give you a hard time about it :p, just never heard of one and looked it up. Tangs with a similar body style to yours tend to get a little larger. Also, IMO, tangs in a reef tank tend to be underfed, and well, grow a little slow. Especially if it's in a smaller tank.

Cardinals are another easy going fish for a reef.

I like longnose hawks better than flame hawks.. I heard flames can get aggressive. My brother has a longnose thats chill as can be. He'll lay out on his favorite rock and watch everything swimming around. Then when you look down into the top of the tank he'll swim up reallyyy fast looking for a handout haha. It's pretty cool, I'm definitely getting one in my 40 here in the next few months.

You know though, i wonder how accurate that site is if they're saying that a minimum tank size is 50g for a tang of any type... just saying...

a few websites say that a 50 gallon is minimum for them, maybe when they a baby...but like already said tho, tangs that have that long body like mine has, kinda like an orange shoulder tang, get really big..

this would not work, hawkfish are known for their aggression and mandarins normally cant compete with them for food. they are best left in peaceful tanks
