For me, I prefer anthias. I typically have 20 or so in my tank. I had to cut back because I downsized my skimmer but once redo the sump and set up my new skimmer, I will have 20 more!. A reef is just not a reef without anthias.

Agreed, gcarroll- but my LFS wants a fortune for Anthia's and I will not pay his price, oddly enough every time I buy fish over the net- they die on the way to me- so I quit trying.

The seller never put enough water in the bag, and then well you know what happens.

Now if I could find an online seller of fish that would fill their bags, and ship them like RAH does, well I would try again.

So are PJ cardinals when you have over 5 of them. PJ's are very easy to care for.

BTW, Hawk fish, if you have coral- might be a no go- Hawks have no swim bladder, they like to "rest" on your other critters- this can be dangerous.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !

Yeap you got me there, 3 fish in around 24 gallons (28 gallon tank). A pair of clowns and an old YWG. :)

Just because you can does not mean you should.

corrailines tank is not overstocked to the extent your is. 66 tangs in a 165 is extremely unreasonable, we try to replicate the ocean with our tanks and a open ocean fish in a 40 gallon tank is not helping in any way. 3 fish in a 26 gallon tank is barely overstocked if at all. yours is to the extreme

it really depends on the tang, but say you have a 165 i would say you should probably only put a max of 3-4 but if you got some of the larger tangs such as a clown or unicorn i would say 1-2
