What are the best Snails and Hermits to use as a CUC????

    Thanks guys.....I've never heard of having Snails and Hermits at this enormity!!!!! I will persue this CUC plan......Thanks for the expert advise. I currently have about 10 Hermits and Zero Snails....That's why I am here!!!!!;D

    From experience, you can never have to many hermits and snails. if you don't think they are getting enough food throw a thawed silverside in the tank. Squeeze the gut and the fish should sink to the bottom and watch the swarm attack lol.

    I would avoid margarita snails, they are more of a colder water species and IME don't do great in the long run in reef tanks.

    For snails? Reef cleaners is way cheaper.

    25 cerith snails on sale for $27.99 regular price $31.00. It is only $10 at reef cleaners. Hardly giving them away if you ask me. Also at reef cleaners they have the price per snail so you can buy fewer and still get as good of a deal.

    Nerite snails $1.50 each if you buy in a pack of ten at saltwaterfish.com at reefcleaners they are .75 for large ones or .58 for small-medium ones.

    You won't find a place cheaper than reef cleaners for most items. Reason being is because they collect themselves. Other places have to purchase their stock from collectors to resale.
