I seem to have very good luck with margatia snails. Mine live about 5 months in my tank. Not what one would call super long term, but I like them more than turbos because, unlike the turbos, they don't fall on their backs often and can normally right themselves. I also pay .99 for each so it isn't a large investment.

We talkin dwarf ceriths or florida ceriths? I had 100 dwarf ceriths in my 10gal. Great cleaners. I have about 10 or so that made it down the over flow into the sump and they are now going around the sump just below the water line leaving a line of clean glass behind them, like a bunch of little zambonis.

Not to sound to repetitive but reef cleaners is the way to go. I just got my order in today and am stoked with it. I would have easily payed 4x the amount for my order at the LFS but ReefCleaners has killer prices. John is the man and his customer service is top notch.

Dwarf Ceriths. I haven't had any make it to the sump though..I just have my overflow with a few in there. I do have some Large Nerite snails in my sump though..one weekend I was gone and I came home to EVERY SINGLE nerite snail sitting on the floor behind my tank. Put them back in the tank...a few nights later it happened again..so i just tossed them in my sump!
