What are the proper chemical levels to own a tank

    I am buying myself a tester kit to test all my nitrates nitrites, etc. and i was wondering what are the proper levels for all those chemicals. If someone could help it would be greatly appreciated

    when a tank is cycled
    nitrates can be as high as 10 and can be more but you want 0
    nitrites 0
    amonia 0
    ph 8.0-8.3
    alk 8-12
    salinity 1.025
    mg 1500
    calcium 400-450
    phosphates 0
    sorry about spelling, these numbers should give you a idea, however i am new myself

    thank you so much great help now i can go buy my own testing kit. i took my water to a store and they say its perfectly fine but i want to insure it myself since aquarium stores are more about the money well some of them. thank you :p

    mg doesnt need to be that high 1350 is good. everything else is right.
