What are these little buggers?

    I just noticed these in my 30 gal. Very fast, but not fast enough for my big emerald...seen him munching on one this morning.
    never seen them before ..but now looks lke they ae all about.
    I caught this one and some others look more silver?..or clear?
    I did shake up my tank agaiin moveing it over to make room for my 55...everytime I move it,,something else comes out !!
    They kinda look like a shrimp...???:p

    the best i can tell they look like some type of pods they look like the ones that crawl around in my gravel.

    Amphipods. Very good thing. They eat crap and left over food and feed manderins :)

    Yes...A friend of mine kept telling me he had them and I just shrugged...then he was here last night and he said..LOOK..thats one there...

    BTW if your emerald was munching on him, it might have allready been dead, i have a 10 gallon, and had an emerald for a little while and noticed they where way to fast for him ;D

    It may have been...because he was reaching and the moving ones were running all about.
