I have noticed over the last three months my Blue tang has started to get these clear refelective marks on the sides of it. They are in the photo on the lower section from middle of the fish to the tail. Does anyone know what it is? All other fish do not have any of these markings. The tang acts normal and eats well.

What are you feeding it. The majority of food should be algae, broccoli etc... To much meaty foods can have adverse affects in color.

Are there larger fish in the same tank?
They could be a few things. My best guess would be missing scales due to injury or another more aggressive fish. It could also be something that clowns usually show from some Zoas. I don't recall the name but they get a black shiny spots when they are in the zoanthids

my blue tang has these spots once in while, they are probably the scars from the ich that the blue tang has fought off.. should disappear within a short period of time

I make my own food with a variety of meats and seaweed. I also place a seaweed clip in the tank every other day. I tried broccoli a few times but it seemed like no one eat it.

All my fish get along great. There is a larger one spot fox face rabbit fish in there.

But just thinking the Tang really crams himself in tight spots in the rock work.

Good to know. I'll keep an eye on him over the next month to see if it improves.

My tang gets the same marks or even white spots if I mess with the tank or add anything, he is very sensitive but has always gone away over time. I just started adding garlic to his food to see if that prevents it from happening again.
