    They will come and go. they come when they run out of foor. To my knoledge there is no way to get rid of them. I dont know if a uv would help like it does with ich? I know I looked today and I had 5-6 on the glass and its been months since I have seen them.

    i have had these hydroids before, when i first set up my tank. they annoyed the heck out of me so the day i decided to do something about it, they went. from my experience they come as fast as they go.

    I got an outbreak of hydroids after putting live brine in my tank. They must have been caught with them.
    I just scooped em out of my tank with a fish net. Can be pretty annoying tho.
