Okay, we have all heard the expression, "If it aint broke dont fix it", But i just whant to see what everyone is dosing for their corals, and water cuality. This might be a very contreversial thread, so lets keep the"my way is the best" away.

As of now i am dosing food for the filter feeders once a week, on monday. I make a small cocktail of Bio-plankton, oyster eggs, rotifers, and a lil piece of frozen mysis. I also use some cyclopeeze on wednesday and fridays, but very little.

For my fish, i do some Frozen mysys, or pellet food, or flakefood. I change it up every now and then.

I use buffer twice a week during top-off. And i dose b-ionic part one and two to maintain my calcium level, and as a source of some other trace elements. And i change my carbon once every week or two.

Does anybody see anything wrong with what im dosing? Thanks again, and i wanna see what everybody else is dosing.

Hey Turbo I think your carbon could stay in the tank longer, up to a month before changeing it out. No sense wasting money and carbon. :)

I'm on Zeovit so I currently do all the Nitrate and phosphate reduseing doseing for that. I have a CA reactor to manage Ca and Alk. I do adjust my Mag and CA/Alk of water change water prior to adding it to the tank.
I feed my fish a veritesty of Mysis flake and seaweed

WOW I didn't know this topic had been done before and hey I replied in that thread.

I've done just about everything to feed corals and everything seems to have some positive results. Mind you some things require a very good skimmer to remove the waste created or the excess.
I believe in Rotifers and Cyclope-eeze, I use both sporadically.
A large part of Zeovit is the Bacteria that is eating the nitrate and phosphate also becomes coral food. And yes it works very well.
So I rarely use added food for my corals. I have a couple of LPS I try to ensure get a few pieces of Mysis a couple of times a week
