    I have that skimmer on my 40 gal reef, and sincerily i dont recomend it. Its working and all, but i think that the coralife skimmers are doing much better right now.

    I had the Red Sea skimmer and it was the worst decision I made, it was noisy, always needed adjustment and never produced any decent skimmate. I have recently bought the Coralife skimmer and I think its great value for money and very pleased with it.

    I have heard good things about both. I would prefer to go with the Coralife though(needle wheel).
    I am very happy with my Aqua C ev180 however!!!

    I had wont for a weekend before I took it back. I would say the needle wheel skimmer is your best bang for the buck...I want a cev-180 so bad!!
