Mine showed absolutely no aggression. It cruised the tank oblivious to all other inhabitants. Well, almost. It didn't like the pygmy angel.

I would say, OK for most SPS, and all inhabitants except other angels no matter the size.

no worries on any other angel, it will just be my two b & w clowns, red velvet fairy wrasse, maybe midas blenny.

So do you think i should go ahead and try the angel? i know i won't get into sps for a while, for now i'm just planning on sticking with zoas, polyps, toadstool and stuff like that, and if i do good on those, i'll get into lps.

I also plan to get a blue tuxedo sea urchin to take care of my algae issues. Would the angel pick on that at all, and do you think there will be competition for food such as algae?

I don't foresee an issue with the urchin. In my 45, I had a longspine urchin, pinkspot goby, and the bicolor. All are competitors in nature, but got along great in my tank. Just make sure that there is a readily available food.

sweet. i think i may go ahead and try the angel. the main reason why i want one is because i can't have a tang, and the angels remind me of them. lol i'll have my first herbivore! i've only had meat eaters. Are they willing to eat the same foods as tangs, like the seaweed or whatever it is?

Dried Seaweed/Nori, Good stuff lol. My book on the Bicolor Angel says:

Most dwarf angelfish target large polyp stony corals for particular attention, but the bicolor's tastes can stretch to other colors and sessile inverts. It should not harm ornamental shrimp.

    Hmmm research is fun :D.

Mine at normal flake, mysis, brine, krill, nori, ulva, pretty much anything that hit the water. Honestly I didn't have any tang food until today. Got my shipment in from reefcleaners today.
