Michigan's got fresh walleye, perch and salmon. You can find a Friday night fish fry just about anywhere. Cherries from Traverse City (they even have cherry wine), blueberries from Grand Haven, but nothing I can think of that's a particular Michigan thing. If you could eat a vehicle, we got plenty of those sitting in the plant parking lots...:(

Tangster-- I don't know about Va BBQ but Hank's is my dad's favorite and I get Brock's a couple times a year. They usually provide the Que for my kid's birthday parties. Pierce's is another favorite of ours.

The original owner Mr Hangie Hanchie ? on the spelling it was a long time ago his nephew and I played in the same band for a long time and Donald worked there part time . I used hang out there there sometimes before and after we where finished playing and we would eat for free :) when I was kid Hey tell your dad I can give him the sauce recipe LOL

Not sure that Bill's did not take over the old Va BBq a long time back ? It was just up the boulevard from the diamond on the left right about where 95 over pass is .. They had great BBq

Andy's out on Williamsburg Rd was good and that one on Mechanicville and laburnum av been there for yrs and yrs was damn good . Can't recall its name now but the neighborhood ain't what it used to be either :) They may have folded the tent also ?

They have a new one now out on Williamsburg Rd where the turn off to Richmond Drag way is .. My daughter and son inlaw told me about it say its good .. near to where 9 mile rd runs into Williamsburg where the battle of 7 pins took place .. that old Civil war Cemetery there

We are BBq deprived up here in yankee land :) they think they can cook it but they all par boil it first or use a crockpot LOL i
