We're heading down to my grandmother's house in Jacksonville, Florida. So, basically it will be one day of eating alot, and 3 or 4 days of homework, xbox, and my mom and I exploring the hobby stores and LFS's in the area. And sleeping. I think that about covers it...

I get to babysit the Pugs for the week  while the best friend takes his wife to her mom's for the week leaving me home alone :p
my normal work week gives me mon - wed off :computer: and then work 19:00-05:00 thur-sun, so while I will technically be working on Thanksgiving it will mostly be over before I get there and then I get off early enough to avoid the Black Friday crowds! :dizzy2: :gossip: :drive: :gossip:

Not sure if the latest round of minimum wage increases affected servers or not, but just a few years ago it was pretty standard for them to make $2.10 per hour + tips, and in some places the tips were split with the bus boys

that's crazy, i'm so glad minimum wage in california is like $8 an hour. I make $12 working as a kennel attendant at an animal hospital *walking dogs, bathing, etc.* not the best money but it's decent :)
