Our minimum wage is $8.55. The highest in the country! And I don't even know how you can live on that. The cost of living is crazy up here.

Anyway, for Thanksgiving I'm doing the family thing. Eating a lot, relaxing and being thankful!

Our min wage here is 7.25 I believe.. I dont get min wage, but I work my tail off and do good work so I get to scrape by, I dont think I could manage on 7.25 an hr minus taxes..
I cant wait to be home for the holidays! This is my favorite time of year just slightly after the spring/summer transition, best time ever..

Am going to do the family tradition of getting up early with the women and get out the house with all the guys and go hunting for most of the day and work up a good hunger and eat our fool heads off then pass out on our faces where we land ..lol.. Stupid turkey....

New York's is $7.25 also...which is surprising seeing as we have one of the highest tax rates in the US.

But more about Thanksgiving right? I have to work 3pm to 3am..and probably have some sort of fast food for dinner. But I will be having turkey before I go so it's all good.

$7.25 here as well. Which is what I've been paid at nearly every job I've worked. My first job was at $7 an hour as a clerk at a HobbyTownUSA, but back then minimum was $6.45 I think, so I was fine with that. But then again, I've never made more $7.25 per hour. But on that pay, when you work 35 hours a week over a summer, for an entire summer, with some holiday pay in between...well...I paid off my car and bought my SCUBA gear and a laptop, didn't I? :D

Zach, we may pass each other on the interstate...or not. We're leaving sometime over the weekend, but me being informed of when we're leaving is apparently above my rank or paygrade or whatever my family uses as our internal caste system.

And Bama, keep the expectations low and no one gets disappointed. Personally, I hope we win. :D

Hahahaha...you funny... You'll get a good game if you think that pigs being walked to the slaughter is a good game. :)

We'll go down fighting. But when you don't have alot of fight, you still go down hard.
