Thought some people will have interesting stories to tell :D

    I'll start.

I had a bad concussion and a broken wrist at the same time, by falling off a horse

My other bad injury was another concussion and the doctors thought they saw something on my brain, but said it was nothing but not to fall on my head again. And i also got this by falling off a horse

I broke my fibula in half during a football game. I was able to walk into the hospital though as that bone only supports a small percentage of your weight. The nursed all thought I was BSing them when I told them I thought it was broken as I just limped in, the X-ray proved them wrong. It was probably the worst pain I ever felt, at first I thought I tore everything in my knee, as the break was about 6" below it, but luckily my knee was fine.

I had a compound fracture in my wrist when I was twelve. The growth plate literally popped out a 1/4". Still have that scar ;) That was the first day I had rollerblades :)
I have had 7 concussions lol. They are not so bad, just a few days of being "a little out there" (more so than usual).
I would say though my worse was a dislocated shoulder. I reset it myself, but needless to say not correctly. It permanently damaged my rotator cuff, which I will someday need to have surgery on. All of those from ice hockey.

I broke my collarbone while playing soccer. i flipped a player when i was playing goalie. i kept playing for 5 min until it started to hurt, i went over to my teammate and told him, "I think I broke my collarbone what does it look like?" i pulled down my jersey to show my chest and he responded, "OH MY GOD!" It turned out I brock it in 3 places, and needed surgery, now I have 9 screws, and a 3" metal plate on my collar bone.

the docter said that I would be out for snowboard season
1 month after surgery I went snowboarding (DEC. 13-15)
    I even got a 540

Yeah!! Stick it to the man!!! (not really!!)

I had a bad ski accident a few years back...don't even remember it!! Didn't break any bones but I sure felt it the following few weeks. I've dislocated my shoulder too...I think that was the worst. I think I've seen more bad injuries than have had them...which is a good thing, i guess:confused::confused:

I'm sure there's worse out there!! Hopefully everybody is ok now though!!

A couple years ago I broke my wrist Skateboarding. At first I didn't think it was broke so I didn't go to the doctor and keep skateboarding. About a week later I feel on it again and decided to go to the doctor. My doctor told me I broke my growth plate and he said it was pretty messed up.
I guess a broken wrist isn't much but I was pretty freaked out because the doctor told me my wrist might stop growing because of the damaged plate. Being 15, I was pretty concerned about having one arm way longer than the other, but all turned out good.

    Oh...this is gonna be fun...:D

Ok, for starters I've never actually broken a major bone in my body (thank God). I broke my first bone back in the early years when I slipped down the stairs and broke my toe. Sadness. Then, a few years later, I broke another toe. THEN, I broke my index finger playing soccer for my middle school. That sucked, because it never was properly treated. So, on my left hand (the unbroken one) I can curl my finger all the way in, where the pad of my finger can touch the skin of that finger, meaning it's normal. The other finger, the on that was broken, has about a 1/8" or 1/4" gap between pad and finger, and it hurts to bend it to that even. No matter how hard I grunt and strain, I can't get my finger closer than 1/8" using the finger muscles alone. Thankfully I rarely need a finge to bend that much...and I broke a ring finger once but I could care less about that. I don't even remember what did it.

My track injuries were probably the worst I've had due to one sport. I pole vaulted, and I have special jumping spikes for that. Well, the day I upgraded to pointy freakishly sharp metal spikes on my jumping shoes, my form was off a bit. :p Basicly after the end of practice, both of my legs were well bloodied up from both shoes brushing against my calf. I can still clearly see the scars on both legs, because I continued occassionally gashing my leg throughout my highschool career. Also, I ripped my left quad muscle Junior year which required an entire month of physical therapy, which sucked sucked sucked.

I have an 11 year old scar on my left wrist from being tripped by a "friend" when I was on a skateboard. I have a line on my arm from where a guy tried to attack me with his car keys. And then I have a horseshoe shaped scar on my other forearm from when I worked at a summer camp. One of my kids tried to attack another of my kids for calling him a crybaby. I flung my arm around him to stop him, and the little b***ard bit me. So I hauled him up fireman style and walked him to the camp director :D That scar has 2 freckles above it where it looks like a sad face.

And then I have a scar the size of a silver dollar on my ankle that looks a heck of alot like Germany from my point of view. I got that one from falling on a skim board in Florida while Red Tide (a nasty bacteria/algae crap that makes you cough alot and kills fish) was in the water. Yes, I know full well I shouldn't have been skim boarding. :D

That was a week after that happened. And if you know what the borders of Germany look like, you can kind of see what I'm talking about. It still looks exactly like that, only "scar" colored.

Although the most pain I've ever been in came from my stupid soccer cleats. I had an ingrown toenail in my right big toe. The ingrown toenail itself wasn't too painful, just full of pus. It's when the "doctor" took the toenail off that hurt. First, I got 2 shots in my toe, one right through the gosh darn tip of my toe. Those hurt like ****. Then, the barbarian gets a pair of pliars out and simply yanks off my whole toenail. If you've ever heard the sound of someone ripping a scale off of a fish, that's what this sounded like. It took 6 months for a toenail to even start growing again. Then it took another 6 months for it to be fully grown again. Uggggghhhhhh it sucked. I walked through 8th grade graduation with a cast on my foot. Most normal doctors only cut out the "ingrown" part of the toenail. Apparently this guy was thinking he was taking the easy way out. Well...it did heal the toe and take the pain away. Once the stupid thing got over the fact that it' toenail was ripped off. The following days after that hurt. Alot.

I'm sure my mom has other injury stories that I'm forgetting...

    Chicks dig scars, right? :D

when i broke my wrist it messed it up, because that wrist is now bigger than the other, so i will always have two different size wrists.

Another bad fall that i just remembered was when i fell off of a very tall horse, landed straight on my back, and whenever i was in cold weather the lower part of my back would feel like pins and needles and it was this way for a year, it hurt sooo bad whenever it happened, but i never went to the doctors, and just suffered through the pain, no idea whatever happened. Maybe something with one of my discs in my back?

DANG Jwin, your more injury prone than me, i've always been known as a clutz and always fell off horses. But you have by far beat me
