I should post new ones, you can barely even see the scars now it's pretty insane how well the outside has healed, still having issues with the shoulder though have all the flexibility back but still not nearly as strong as it was and it still constantly hurts

I have lived in snow country for over 20 years and it finally caught up with me. While going down some stairs I suddenly saw my feet higher than my head I reached out with my right arm caught the handrail and proceeded to tear my rotator cuff. I landed on my back. A trip to the ER came up with a diagnosis of Lumbago. It took nearly 3 years of fighting with workers comp to accept that I really had a broken back and a very sore shoulder and not Lumbago. Now I am not supposed to ick up more than 20 lbs and no bending lifting or twisting. Try and put all that on a job application and still get an interview.

my family used to have a station wagon and the back hatch closed on my hands. the worst part was my mom already went inside, and i had to wait the ten seconds for it to lock again. (it had a auto lock thing on it.) so i waited while freaking out for the door to lock and inevitably break pretty much everything in my hands. i broke all my fingers and some of the bones in my hands. i went to the doctor with my hands being a swollen mess and they couldnt really do anything about it. everything was too moved around for them to do too much of anything. my hands were never even casted from it. because of this i also get frostbite easily because of the damage to blood vessels and such. my fingers all bend different ways now. but other than that my hands somehow work almost perfectly. its a miracle honestly.
i was also hit by a police boat while wakeboarding. i wasnt really injured but its still crazy nothing else happened.

its not really an injury, but i went through kidney failure as a kid. i went through multiple surguries and survived despite the slim chance the doctors gave me to live. the story gets even worse. my dad has always been self employed so we had terrible insurance. the hospital told us to sell our house to pay the bills within six months. i honestly have no idea how our family made it. after this i was supposed to be on medicine that stunted my growth as a side effect. i dont even remember what it was supposed to do. i went into 3rd grade weighing 35 pounds. i refused to take it after three years and made a full recovery. now i am 6'1" and overall a healthy kid. my doctor actually wrote numerous articles about my case and part of a book about it. its actually a medical miracle that i am alive. i think about it everyday and it makes me realize it could end at anytime, so i live my life to the fullest.

    ...long post. lol
