LOL all these injuries and no fire mishaps. when i was 15 i caught my shirt on fire. i was standing over a cup of black powder in our driveway and dropped a match in it. LUCKILY i closed my eyes during the fire ball. instead of going blind i just burned my eye lashes together. i ran into the house, my mom was washing dishes in the kitchen and she shot me with the hose at the sink, extinguishing the smoldering shirt i was wearing....anyway long story short i spent a little over 2 weeks in a burn center. the 2 worst things i remember from the incident was taking baths in a bleach/water mixed tub and having nurses scrub my burns and the constant smell of burnt hair (all the hair in my nose was singed). surprisingly most of the scarring dissapeared and i just have a few small ones on my arm.

I think you about covered it all......such fond memories.....the only one that really got me was ripping off the toenail. I shouldn't have watched....

Let's see, the best has to be when we lived in Puerto Rico. I was on top of the house with the boy next door (quite innocent - we just climbed up on top of house to walk on the roof, doesn't everybody?). While climbing down, I lost my footing and fell into a pile of concrete and barbed wire, hit my face, broke my arm, had a through-and-through cut on my lip/chin (meaning ripped all the way open). A neighbor drove us to a hospital in San Juan because my dad was out of town at the time, where everybody was talking 90 to nothing in Spanish. Somehow, a resident in plastic surgery was training there from the good old state of Mississippi. He put my face back together and actually came out to our house personally every day to check on me. He took my stitches out one or two at a time because he didn't want me to have a horrible scar. I wish I knew who that guy was - I'd thank him now! :)
