Title says it all. What could I keep with suck lighting in my tank? I know all soft coals but any chance for clams on top or no way?

how many gallons is your tank? I've got 4x96 watt pc's and 4x54 watt T6's on my 135 and I'm keeping a torch coral, pink paly's, hairy mushrooms, frogspawn, finger leather, toadstool, pavona and a gorgonia. Not only is lighting a factor but it also depends on water quality and coral placement and what kinds of corals you want to keep.(if that made sense)

More than you think. Softies and most LPS are on your list of do's. SPS are on your list of dont's. Here is a pic of my tank with what I have in there right now.

I am running 330W over a 90g tank. I even have a large pagoda cup 21 inches down that is doing very well. I have zoanthids (two rocks) and they are propagating. I also have green star polyps, kenya trees, a lobo brain, a donut coral, a mushroom coral, mushrooms, a large finger leather, frogspawn and chili coral (requires no light). I have tried gonapora and that does not do well. From what I hear, it does not do well in many tanks with better lighting than mine. But mine did really poor.

Anemones are probably out. I have a condy that has survived, thrived and has grown substantially. I really lucked out on that one. I think I am the exception to the rule. I just cannot suggest anemones under PC lighting.

And sorry. I wouldn't try a clam. I want one badly as well.

Depth plays key factor because pc light does not penetrate the water column as deeply as MH or T5s. My buddy keeps a bubble tip and two derasa clams under 2x96w pc in a 46 bowfront. Everything is doing great. I have the same lighting over a tank which is only 12" deep and I think I could also have a derasa. You never know but I will concede that the accepted feeling is exactly what pharmrjohn described.
