    It looks like a typical pincushion urchin. Is your tank established enough to support it?

    Don't touch it. Some people don't have any reaction, but other people can get stung and have bad allergic reactions. So be careful.

    My 90 gallon tank is currently 10 months old with 100 pounds of live rock.
    Currently have:
    Sailfin Tang
    Blue Tang
    Chromis Damsel
    Purple Stripe Dottyback
    Emarld Green Crab
    Cleaner Shrimp
    Peppermint shrimp (2)
    Coral Banded Shrimp
    20 Nassuris snails
    10 nerite snails
    5 hermit crabs
    etc...

    If you've got algae, should be good to go! They are a lot of fun to watch and truck around pretty much all day. Enjoy him!!

    If you have anything that can be knocked over you will want to anchor it down the urchin will knock it over other wise.

    Definitely a good idea. My urchin hasn't knocked anything over, my hermit crabs on the other hand......:angry:

    Mexican Turbos are great for this too. :annoyed:
    Since I don't usually glue or pin anything, I no longer use them.

    I have had all 3 of those snails and they didn't knock anything over so I guess im good!
