What cheap fish should i get?

I think either of those two would be able to handle the clowns okay.

 

lol deffiently not selling my firefish right now i like him to much he will deffiently be hard to let go when i have to take my tank down though.

and i was only going to get the cardinal before because my mom liked them, but now i dont think ill get one of those guys.

 

and their both around the same price too, ugh i dont know which one. And i just hope that whichever one i get leaves teh firefish alone and keeps the clowns in check, only reason why im getting this last fish, wasnt planning on getting another up until now

 

I don't have any personal experience with the 6line, but just from what I've heard, I've been scared to try one of those. I've heard they are more 'seek and destroy' type of fish, which is definitely not what the firefish needs.

 

wow that bad, deffiently dont want that. so i think i'll go ahead with the royal gramma then, because i really did love that fish when i first started

 

Yeah, but I can't guarantee the royal gramma won't be mean either. It really just depends!! Maybe observe the fish at the LFS for awhile before you decide yea or nay.

 

i think ill have to get it off of LiveA because my LFS wont be carrying any livestock for about a month due to relocation, i gues i can take a chance since it is a fairly cheap fish and buy it off of liveaquria.

my firefish has finally come out of hiding, wonder how long it has until it gets harrassed

 

Awww poor lil' guy. I'm sorry that's happening!! You definitely need another fish to help break up the tension, and give the clowns another fish to pick on.

 

yea i just dont understand why their doing this, they have always had off and on fighting, then they got ok for a while and then it was like as soon as i added my corals they became really aggressive and iwould have thought with the new aquascape that things would have gotten better, but its gotten worse, and i dont want to loose my firefish because of it getting gainged up on by the clowns
