Actually... the ocean is clear. The reflection of light causes the water to look blue. But I assure you, it's clear.

Well I've had them from Royal Blue , Aquar Green ,Sea blue , Sky Blue to Black to White and even Silver all in a waste of time effort to see if the color effected the lighting values in my younger yrs when I had more time to waste . It made no difference to any meters I used and I use so much Rock that all of the back that can be seen at all is just the 3 inches about the very top line of rocks.

On a Side note when I was doing this paint light thing I was thinking how dumb am I to even worry about that ? Then a few months ago I ran up on a lighting Bulb expert :) who also went into a indepth study and artical about the color of paint and its effects LOL I did not finsh the read boring and long . But at the end of it I think he found out that Black was best ? or was it Blue ? I don't think he tried any other colors ?

At the end of the day other then the person that has to live with it who cares ? Liike a car what does anyone care about the color if its not theirs ? Deloren left his Hybred Fords Stanless Steel some got a clear coat LOL .

I did not paint...I used colored film from LFS...It is black on one side and blue on the other...I prefer the black but I can change if I want to...but like Tangster stated...I can only see about 3 to 4 inches of the top anyhow?
    But still...I voted BLACK.. : )
    Cool thread.
