What color is your background?

Not sure how to do a poll on this site so im just asking for a few answers. Can everyone just tell me what color background you are all using. I currently have a black one and im thinking of switching to blue but not sure if I should really make the switch since its gonna take some work. But it does seem like the ones I see on this site that have the blue backgrounds make the tank brighter.

Simply put, do you have blue, black, other or nothing and are you happy with it. Thanks guys!!!

Black, but it's turning purple

 

mine is black cuz im developing nice purple algea on the back and i dont like blue w purple (im a matching whore) it took forever though. blue would have been nicer wher there was nothing on the back wall...

 

Blue. Honestly, you don't really notice the color once its in there. Just get something dark for the color to pop and you'll be happy.

I prefer black, I spray painted mine. I think it makes the colors stand out more, especially once the coralline builds up on it.

 

I did blue and purple sparkles (acrylic paint) then black over it. serious.

 

Mine is black and I am happy with it, but I may be happy with blue. Maybe one day I will change it and decide what I like better then. I do believe it is a matter of preference and you should look at different tanks and decide what YOU like best and go that route. Its your tank and you should aquascape it to your liking IMHO.
