10g tank, it was 10$! (you can guess where)

with my ATO, I use it to feed my Kalk reactor and I'm manually dumping water into it, at least, once a week.
My idea is to get a acrylic lid that will fit the top, put a push-to-fit bulkhead fitting in the top for my kalk reactor line. Then I'm thinking of a float valve (or something) to hook up my ro/di to my ATO tank. I however, don't want the RO/DI to run for a minute and then turn back off 72 times a day. I'd rather it run for 5 gallons and then be off. So, maybe I'm looking at 2 float switches. hmmmm

I do think that was WAY more info than you were looking for. haha!

on my other tank, 15 gal rubbermaid. (I also want to hook up to ro/di)

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
LOL! Yeah that will fill up my 20 gallon for a year. o_O

So I measured, 11x17D, got a 5.5 gallon glass tank.

More interesting topic than I would have thought. Honestly I never gave much thought to if plastics or other materials were toxic, so I thought I hit you guys up and you did not disappoint.

    Thanks all.

Mine is a 5 gallon bucket that I placed inside a wicker basket. The tubing runs out the rear of the basket and into my sump. No one has any idea what it is other than a piece of decoration near the tank stand. Along with an aqua lifter and a float valve i could not have spent more than $50 on the entire thing.

FWIW I went out to buy and put in a DIY ATO today. I sized out everything to 1/4" tubing, and bulkhead has to be ordered online, the float valve as well. At least in the gravity fed route I attempted to go.
