    natural isn't always good.
It's natural for mass extinctions to occur once in a while, will you kill all fish of one species in your tank?

Its natural for people to sleep outside or in caves, will you sleep outside tonight?

It's natural for around >90% of fish fry to die, if you were breeding fish would you kill another 20% of them if 30% survive.

It's natural for coral growth to be eaten down by non-reef safe fish, Will you keep parrot fish?

like it was previously mentioned there is more to a storm than lightning, clouds and noise. nature usually warns the animals before the storm, there is a set of changes that alerts all animals to seek cover even in the ocean. the wind and tide usually change even the waves.
if you just simulates the lightning and sound you would be scaring your fish and doing the most unnatural thing while trying to simulate the opposite.

I understand that I think the same thing I was reading on another site that they state that the wavemakers and everything changes before it all starts but I wanted to see what everyone else thought. I am trying to get a general direction to go with what controller to get? So for now any suggestions?

The RKL does. You just need to buy the module for it (ALC). You can't add more modules to the RKL Net package, though, since the head unit is maxed out on module count with what comes in that package.

The videos on YouTube of lightning show a bunch of fish freaking out.

Clouds and storm currents are ok to simulate; that doesn't really bother fish, and the storm current can actually benefit your tank by picking up debris and getting it off the rock so your filter can pick it up. The big problem is lightning, which they likely never see in the wild, and thunder, which they definitely never feel in the wild.

I just got a RKL for my tank, and I think it's pretty good. I know it comes with a storm mode built in. For a RKL or RKE, you need to buy the ALC module to get it to control LEDs. I'm not 100% sure on how it controls wavemakers.

    Digital Aquatics

It mentions it under the 2.0 Features section of that press release.

If you clicked on the link, it would have told you that it does "advanced pumps and lighting".

I'm pretty sure it also mentions that they're coming out with a Tunze-compatible pump control module.
