what coral can i keep?

    Can i keep ANY coral at all under 128 watts? ( this is on my 150) im asking because it really looks pretty lonely without coral.. and im getting the MH until may or so..

    if i cant thats fine... just curious..:)

    what kind of lights do you have

    how much live rock do you have

    how old is the tank

    what kind of filtration do you have

    so yea.. is it possible? any coral in the book?

    try some small inexpensive frags to start. no use buying an extravagent coral just ot have it dye. i have 36W T-8 over my ten gallon and my kenya tree frags are doing great.

    so you think a xenia would do ok on my 150?

    I gather you should be fine with Ricodeas/Shrooms/Zoas and possibly softies. I started with some shrooms and ric's when i had 64 watts over my 120g, now im up to 6 x 54w T5's

    You could always go the route of low light corals too. Chili coral and sun coral won't notice the lack of powerful light. Keep in mind you will have to feed them though.

    I do agree with mikejrice, starting off with something like suncoral, granted you do have to feed it, but they are nonphotosynthetic corals... (sp) And are a great addition IMO.
