what coral is this growing on my rock with the candy cane?

    I bought a candy cane a couple weeks ago and got some hitchhiker coral on it anyone know what they are? I've never used photo bucket before so hopefully this works.

    The pic is kinda fuzzy but they are either baby clove polyps or star polyps. Beautiful caulastreas btw!!

    I would say +1 on the star polyps also called Clavularia

    Thanks for the quick responses, I was kinda worried about my candy cane a few days after I got it, but it has since plumped up and is doing great. This is still quite new to me yet:)

    I would consider kalk pasting them. They can spread like crazy. Some people like them though, just be aware.
