    looks like a branching torch...
would need a direct shot looking into "the head".
It's starting to come back. If it does, watch it next to your hammer cuz it will "sting" it.

ill go get a head shot for you... but how close can a coral be to sting something? is it a touching thing or can it be from a cose distance?

The torch and hammer can be close to each other as they are both euphyllia's. But, I would keep a distance of twice the tentacle length between them and any other corals.

It's so far gone it's hard to say for sure. But it's either a Torch or Frogspawn most likely

My torch and hammer have always been apart so I wouldn't know directly. I know that everything my torch has come in contact with from Zoas to Monti to Acro, it has burned fatally. I just keep all my Lps evenly spaced so the tank looks balanced. Coincidentally with over growth it swings it's tenticles to pimp slap other corals and they don't appreciate it. ;D

I agree with pack leader... kinda hard to tell. Under assumption, if it comes back, (IME) that's where it'll split heads and branch. It looks like it wasn't getting enough light or nutrients. I combine Reef Nutrition "Oyster Feast" and Ocean Fresh "Coral Vibrance" with tank water and "Reef plus' Vitamin and amino acid suppliment" and my stuff seems to thrive. Mainly the Coral Vibrance... it's $12 a jar and lasts appx 2 months in a heavily stocked tank.
