What coral is this

    Looks like a rhodactis (hairy mushroom) to me as well. See how the bubbles and stripes are following the striations.

    I think Nu-2reef had the right answer it looks a lot like a tonga mushroom. Plus I have a hairy mushroom colony and it looks nothing like the colony.

    Actually looking more into it, it looks like a weird morph of a hairy mushroom. The morph being that the bubbles dont cover the full shroom but only in a pattern almost like an X or x's crossed but not all over it.

    Scientists barely distinguish various corallimorphs. There's just WAY TOO MUCH VARIETY. Ricordia, Discosoma, Rhodactis, Actinodiscus, etc are all just corallimorphs.

    ive got both hairy shroom and tonga shroom. i can show you both for comparison but im certain the green tonga is what you have. it actually looks like yours is in the process of splitting. this is my colony i started with 8 now theres are over 20
