I agree. Their job is to make you learn the material. The reason for tests is to see how much much you have absorbed. If failing, then said student needs help to absorb it better or in a different way. If said student needs to go to professor for help or extra study material then they should help the student so he/she doesn't fail.

Now having his class grade his book is complete bs to me. They there to learn not to be an editor. DUMB

Myspace began their own as well. I was able to locate a few professors that were not available on Ratemyprofessor on a few and rare occasions. I can't say whether or not this feature is still available.

Hmm. You've brought up an interesting point. I've never heard of such. I believe the shortest period of time I'm familiar with is either 5 or 6 weeks (based upon the average 3 credit hour course). In order for a college and course to be accredited, it must meet a set amount of hours mandated by non-governmental institutions and overseen by the U.S. Department of Education, to complete. I can't imagine covering enough material and hours within a 3 week period unless you attended class 9-5 for those weeks. Unless you're attending a technical school or such.

    What is your major?

    nope its 4 weeks 5 days a week 3 hours a week.

i am an excellent writer (not som much for spelling but i have spell check ;))

i handed the papper in today along with 40 pages of notes on my classmates presentations. i understand he has to cover alot of work in a shorter period of time then normal but its a 101 class... as for rate my professor ...the professor wasnt listed until the day of classes so i couldnt look him up. aside from that there were only a handful of classes to choose from for winter session.

DeVry offers only 8-week courses, with the two 4-credit courses I'm taking now in one session, 5 hours per week of class time for each course.

I guess the rest is made up for with massive amount of "online" time though, as DeVry only offers what they call "blended" courses. Plenty of work that you can't ever get it done during those 5 hours, and need to spend another 5 per week doing work, but (somewhat) at your choosing during the week instead of on a rigid schedule.
