What did you name your fish!!

Okay, we all have diferent reasons why we name our fish.

I have two little brothers, and the first thing they do when i bring a fish home is name it.
For Example,
Yellow Tang= Sophia
Garibaldi Damsel= Gary
Chromisx4= The School
Lawnmower Blenny= Simon

Suposably, my lil bros. say that they name it according to their personality. :rolleyes3

What have you named your fish, i know im not the only one!

 

Well, right now only my lawn mower bleenie has a name. We call him Lorax, like in the Dr.Seuss books. He has eye lashes( or my mom thinks so ), and his face is crazy looking!! He has the best personality of all my saltwater fish.
Once I got him to start eating dry food, he just wiggels, and waves his fins at everyone that comes to the tank. It is so coool. You can wave at him, and hell wave back!! No joke!! You have one, youll see in a few months.

 

I know, i have two, one in each tank. I had both in my 40 at one point for like 5 months, their so full of personality!

 

well the decora gobie is called mr slinky (photo in my avatar)
and the bcs are bonnie and clyde,because they act like a couple trouble makers always trying to have a go when i stick my hands in the tank.

 

at the moment i have a snowflake eel called Hudini, for his great disappearing acts and carpet crawling. tough little bugger.

my two hermits are heckal and jecal.

I had a pair of cbs Jzack and frenchy. frenchy ate jzack and then i think puffy ate frenchy or it could have been the eel thats anyones guess.

 

My maroon clown is named Cap'n Jake after my buddy who gave him to me...
The royal gramma is Bonk since that's what it did to the front glass when we first got her...
The 6-line wrasse is Phillip...because it seemed funny...

I also have a 20L planted tank with 4 goldfish...they're all named Steve.
The biggest fish is Steve #1 and the smallest is Steve #4. If any of the fish dies, the other just move up in order...

 

I have a chiclid named Jaws

 

My daughters named the six line wrasse coral. I personally never named a fish... I've called them names before (bad names when i get a jumper or when i get bitten) but never in 10+ years have i named one.

Seriously. I don't name my fish. I used to but any time I did, they carked it so I stopped

 

Emerald Crab = Andrea after my Fiance's sister in law.
Clown=Dump Truck
Sleeper Goby=Bulldozer
Six line= Bob (Bob Cat)
I think construction equipment names are funny so I name my fish them. Except Andrea the crab.
